The Vision

IronWorks has evolved from the developer Robert Stephens' unique vision and a very special parcel of land. Through the collaboration of public and private interests, IronWorks is a strategically planned expansion of downtown Mishawaka designed to provide a true lifestyle experience.

The Developer

Robert D. Stephens has a rich experience in urban development starting in Chicago and, for the last decade, in the Michiana area. Through his company, Prime Development Corporation, Mr. Stephens has planned and developed quality residential communities such as Barrington Estates, Highland Village and Rosewood to name a few.

His establishment of IronWorks of Mishawaka, LLC is for the express purpose of development of IronWorks of Mishawaka (formerly known as River Center). Serving as the developer, general contractor and property manager/leasing agent, the company's focus is to coordinate and implement the development of this unique riverfront property into a traditional urban design community.
